#FindAllTB leader Dr Tara Singh Bam has been awarded by the Indonesian Minister of Health Dr Budi Gunadi Sadikin for his dedication towards advancing tobacco control and public health for over 17 years in Indonesia and globally.
Dr Bam who is also Asia's Director of Tobacco Control Vital Strategies has played a significant role in engaging and strengthening local and sub-national leaders in addressing issues of tobacco control ,TB control ,prevention and control of non-communicable diseases , combating antimicrobial resistance and promoting One Health Approach .
He also served as Asia Pacific Director for the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease(The Union) and currently he is the Board Director of Asia Pacific Cities Alliance for Health and Development
